Limited Lifetime Warranty

Provided that the following conditions are satisfied, Atlantic Fuel Technology warrants the Linebacker^® (LB) against failure due to defective materials and workmanship and is free of leaks upon initial installation by original purchaser.  This warranty covers the steel portion of the product and does not extend to the sealant or replaceable flexible boot gasket, which are considered maintenance items.  The warranty does not cover the installation or any existing parts at the installation site.

Conditions to Warranty Effectiveness

1. LB must be (a) the original installation within the United States of America; (b) installed and tested at the jobsite in accordance with attached installation instructions and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
2. This limited warranty is not valid unless and until the LB is inspected and tested for leaks at the jobsite before being placed into service.  Proof of testing should be kept at the LB site.  No warranty claims will be honored after this time.
3. To permit Atlantic Fuel Technology to fulfill the terms of this limited warranty, the purchaser represents and agrees that, upon discovery of a suspected LB failure or leak covered by the warranty, the purchaser shall give Atlantic Fuel Technology written notice thereof sufficient to permit Atlantic Fuel Technology to inspect the tank.
4. Before testing, customer is required to check the LB inside and out for any irregularities or debris.
5. Atlantic Fuel Technology’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to, at Atlantic Fuel Technology’s option; (a) repair of the original LB; or (b) delivery of a replacement LB.  Atlantic Fuel Technology shall not be liable for:  (a) failure of the piping system connected to the LB; (b) labor or other installation costs of any replacement LB; (c) any loss of profits, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other similar damages; nor (d) any leaks or defects arising from damage in transit, improper handling, or improper installation.  Cutting or welding on the LB will void this limited warranty.  In no event, whether as a result of breach of contract or warranty, alleged negligence or otherwise, shall Atlantic Fuel Technology be liable for personal injury.
6. Any claims regarding LB issues must be emailed to Atlantic Fuel Technologies with pictures of said issues.
7. The forgoing limited warranty is the only warranty made.  No other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, and all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose which exceed the aforesaid obligations are hereby disclaimed by Atlantic Fuel Technology and excluded from this agreement of limited warranty.
8. Atlantic Fuel Technology assumes NO responsibility for LBs that have not been retested, improperly retested, over-pressurized (if applicable) or improperly installed.
9. This limited warranty only applies to the steel spill bucket insert.
10. This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse; excessive wear and tear above and beyond normal use; surrounding concrete, fuel pipe or substrate failure or settlement; and absence of periodic maintenance.   

Note:

1. Shipment of the LB can create defects through vibration and handling which were not present during the testing process.  Due to these circumstances the LB is required to be inspected and retested prior to installation.
2. The LB installation instructions must be strictly adhered to.  If the existing site conditions require a change it must be preapproved in writing from Atlantic Fuel Technology.
